Our History

Pacific Rails Credit Union is a non-profit cooperative dedicated to the financial success of our members and provides you with reasonable rates for all your financial needs.

The credit union was chartered in December of 1935 and since then have increased our field of membership from Union Pacific railroad workers and their families to Salt Lake County residents, members of the Salt Lake City Catholic Diocese, Catholic Facilities employees and Employees of Union Pacific Railroad Health Systems. At the beginning there were three board members and now there are seven. PRCU is growing membership day by day.

Our Mission

Pacific Rails Credit Union is a financial cooperative solely for the financial benefit of our members. We pledge to serve our members with the best possible service with the least expense. We will promote thrift, provide expanding financial services, and maintain the long-term financial stability of the credit union. Furthermore, all affairs of this credit union will be conducted with integrity.
