Community Involvement

The early 1900s saw the rise of the credit union movement with the motto:

"Not for Profit, Nor Charity, But for Service."

Pacific Rails, now as in the past, is governed by a volunteer board of directors and committee members who give freely of their time and talents in the tradition of the original credit union philosophy of people helping people. Because we believe a community is only as good as the people who are in it, we take pride in our involvement with high quality organizations that help the community. We are always looking for worthwhile projects to help and aid our communities around us.
